The ALIGN JV, in the early stages of construction of the HS2-C1 project, has posted aerial footage of the alignment captured via drone which can be viewed here. C1, which will connect London and Birmingham, consists of 21.6 km (13.5 mi) of high-speed rail infrastructure that includes a 3.5 km (2.2 mi) viaducts, 16 km (10 mi) twin-bored tunnel, and five (5) ventilation shafts accommodating both intervention and tunnel ventilation facilities.
