Experience

Dr. Kurt Zeidler is a principal and co-founder of Gall Zeidler Consultants. He is primarily responsible for projects in the UK, European and Asian markets and is based in GZ’s main offices in London. Dr. Zeidler has over 40 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, tunnel design and design checks for underground construction.

Dr. Zeidler is frequently called upon as an expert advisor on tunneling and geotechnical projects worldwide and has worked extensively in the United States, Europe, North Africa, Australia and Asia. His primary expertise lies in the design of modern support systems and excavation techniques for tunnels, caverns, and complex underground stations. Dr. Zeidler is an expert in conventional tunneling, TBM and cut-and-cover methods and is familiar with their execution in hard rock, mixed-face, and soft soil conditions.
